Custom Queries can be deleted from the OnBase Configuration module. Before deleting a Custom Query, see the following considerations:

  • When deleting a Custom Query, objects that reference the Custom Query that are not stored in the database should be reviewed. When the Custom Query is deleted, these objects result in broken references to the deleted Custom Query and objects will be unavailable to the user.
  • If a Custom Query is used by an object (for example, a default Folder Filter or a Tab in the Combined Viewer), the reference to it must first be removed before the Custom Query can be deleted.

To delete a Custom Query:

  1. Apply the -ROMANZO switch to the OnBase Configuration module shortcut before launching the OnBase Configuration module.
    CAUTION:

Before using features enabled by the -ROMANZO switch, ensure that you understand the feature and implications of any changes to your system. Contact your service provider with any questions regarding these features. Features enabled by the -ROMANZO switch should not be made available to the casual user. Remove the -ROMANZO switch after completing necessary actions.

  2. From the OnBase Configuration module, select Queries | Custom Queries. The Custom Query dialog box is displayed.
  3. Select a Custom Query to delete from the Custom Query Name list and click Delete. A confirmation message is displayed.
  4. Click Yes to delete the selected Custom Query from your database.
