To begin the re-upgrade process from the OnBase Configuration module, the administrator must be assigned the System Configuration configuration right and Database Management product right. The -ROMANZO switch must also be applied.

CAUTION:

Before using features enabled by the -ROMANZO switch, ensure that you understand the feature and implications of any changes to your system. Contact your service provider with any questions regarding these features. Features enabled by the -ROMANZO switch should not be made available to the casual user. Remove the -ROMANZO switch after completing necessary actions.

To re-upgrade the database:

  1. From the Configuration module, select Utils | Database | Re-Upgrade database. The Re-Upgrade Database dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the entry in the top list.

The entry details the last upgrade that took place, listing the previous database version, the current database version, and when the upgrade occurred.

Once the entry is selected, the affected areas of the database are detailed in the bottom list.

  3. Click Process.
You are prompted to confirm your selection to force the upgrade process.
  4. Click Yes.
The Configuration module is closed, and the database is reverted to the previous version. Continue with the upgrade process as you would normally to re-upgrade to the current version.
  5. Continue with the upgrade process as you would normally to re-upgrade to schema version 3.5-441. Then, use Foundation DBUtils to complete the re-upgrade process. For more information, see Re-upgrading the Database Using Foundation DBUtils.
