The following options are available on the Keyword tab:
Keyword Option |
Description |
---|---|
Disable addition of default keywords to the batch name |
Select this option to disable the automatic addition of the Default Keyword Value(s) to the beginning of a batch Auto-Name string. This option only applies to batches processed by COLD, DJDE, and the PDF Input Filter processor. |
Display primary MIKG value when collapsed |
This option controls the title of a Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group when the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group is collapsed.
By default, this option is not selected. Note:
The Unity Briefcase always displays the first Keyword Type name and value of the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group as the title when the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group is collapsed. |
Prevent pasting multiple lines of data into keyword edit fields |
When this option is selected, the user is prevented from pasting multiple lines of data into a Keyword Type field from the clipboard. When this option is not selected, pasting multiple lines of data into a Keyword Type field from the clipboard duplicates the Keyword Type field and populates each instance with a line of data from the clipboard. Blank lines in the clipboard data are skipped. |
Store Keyword Set Data on file import |
When this option is selected, Keyword Set Data is added to an existing AutoFill Keyword Set when importing a document. When this option is not selected, Keyword Set Data is not added to an existing AutoFill Keyword Set when importing a document. Note:
When this option is selected, generated Multi-Instance Keyword Type data is not stored unless the Primary Keyword Type appears within the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group. This is because the system does not know which secondary Keyword Type Values should be stored in the event there are multiple values for a given Keyword Type. |
Enable SQL Select option for External AutoFill Keyword Sets and Data Sets |
By default, upgraded systems using a SQL Select String for External AutoFill Keyword Sets or Data Sets will have this option selected. Upgraded systems should keep this option selected until a replacement has been configured for AutoFill Keyword Sets and Data Sets. If deselected before all SQL Select String configurations have been replaced, External AutoFill Keyword Sets or Data Sets still relying on the use of a SQL Select String will not be functional. New systems should first consider alternate sources before selecting this option. CAUTION:
SQL Select String functionality is being maintained for backwards compatibility, but it is no longer recommended and may be removed in a future release. Consider adopting Unity Scripts instead. |
Enable VB Script option for External AutoFill Keyword Sets and Data Sets |
By default, upgraded systems using a VB Script for External AutoFill Keyword Sets or Data Sets will have this option selected. Upgraded systems should keep this option selected until a replacement has been configured for AutoFill Keyword Sets and Data Sets. If deselected before all VB Script configurations have been replaced, External AutoFill Keyword Sets or Data Sets still relying on the use of a VB Script will not be functional. New systems should first consider alternate sources before selecting this option. CAUTION:
VB Script functionality is being maintained for backwards compatibility, but it is no longer recommended and may be removed in a future release. Consider adopting Unity Scripts instead. |
Enable Restricted Keyword Options Override |
When this option is selected, users without the Access Restricted Keywords privilege may view or modify restricted keywords for Document Types available to them. This includes Document Separation and re-indexing. This setting is only respected for users on the Unity Client. Users on other clients cannot view or modify restricted keywords without the Access Restricted Keywords privilege even if this option is selected. CAUTION:
If this setting is enabled, a user may perform a Document Separation or re-index that causes one Document Type to change to a different Document Type that has a lower restriction level for a Keyword Type, such as a hidden keyword on Document Type A becoming read-only on Document Type B. This action is tracked through entries in the Warnings tab within the Diagnostics Console. |
