The following options are available on the Processing tab:

Processing Option

Description

User-specified range for committed batch query display

Select this option to prompt the user to select a range of batches to display. The Select Batch Range: Committed dialog box is automatically displayed when entering a Committed queue in a processing module. This allows users to limit the display of committed batches, reducing the time spent waiting for the batches to display.

OnBase automatically retains the last selected range. If the user goes to another status queue and then returns, the committed batch range selection dialog appears, but retains the last range entered rather than automatically returning to the default.

Do not adjust batch date when re-dating documents within a batch

When selected, re-dating a batch of documents will only re-date the documents within the batch, not the batch itself. If the setting is turned off, all the documents as well as the batch will have their dates adjusted when re-dating.

Global Autofill Updater checks for changes in the autofill row before updating documents

This setting applies only to HL7 AutoFill Keyword Set import processes that meet the following criteria:

  • The import process is configured to update documents using reverse-keyset lookup.

  • The AutoFill Keyword Set targeted by the import process is not assigned to the primary Keyword Type.

If the Global AutoFill Updater checks for changes setting is selected, the HL7 Processor attempts to update documents indexed with reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Sets only if the reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Sets have changed.

If this setting is not selected, the HL7 Processor always attempts to update documents indexed with reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Sets, even if no changes are needed.

For more information, see the HL7 module reference guide.

Global Autofill Updater updates all documents that match solely by primary key

This setting applies only to document keyword updates triggered by the OnBase HL7 module.

This setting is intended for troubleshooting purposes only. For more information, see the HL7 module reference guide.
