For data security purposes, there is a maximum number of uncommitted batches allowed for your OnBase solution. Once the maximum number of uncommitted batches is reached, no additional batches will be able to be imported into OnBase until some batches are committed.

Tip:

It is considered a best practice to regularly commit the batches of documents you are importing. The interval between commits should be set to something meaningful (e.g., once per day, once per week, etc.) that falls in line with your business needs.

By default, a maximum of 10 uncommitted batches allowed. To modify the number of uncommitted batches allowed:

  1. From the Configuration module, select Import | Process Setting. The Process Setting dialog box is displayed.
  2. In the Maximum Uncommitted Batches field, enter the number of uncommitted batches you would like to allow for your OnBase solution.
  3. Click Save.
    Note:

The Maximum Uncommitted Batches setting is only respected within scanning and sweeping; it is not respected by other processes that import documents into scan queues (e.g., DIP or Mailbox Importer). For more information on these other processes, see the appropriate module reference guides or help files.
