By default, OnBase has several pre-configured user groups. These user groups have been designed with the specific rights and privileges needed to configure certain areas of the software. The rights and privileges associated with each of these default user groups is detailed in the table below.

User Group

Rights Given

ADMIN CONFIG

This user group is granted the following rights:

  • Disk Group Configuration

  • Keyword Configuration

  • Document Configuration

  • Custom Query Configuration

  • Printing Configuration

  • Output Configuration

  • Scanning Configuration

  • Exception Report Configuration

  • Terminal Configuration

PASSWORD CONFIG

This user group is granted the following rights:

  • User Account Admin

PROCESS CONFIG

This user group is granted the following rights:

  • Process Configuration

SYSTEM CONFIG

This user group is granted the following rights:

  • System Configuration

  • Usergroup Security

  • User Account Admin

WORKFLOW CONFIG

This user group is granted the following rights:

  • Workflow Configuration

Note:

In order for users within the specified user groups to perform the configuration function indicated by the user group name, you must also give the user group the appropriate product right to log onto the Configuration module.
