Users and User Groups in OnBase can be added or updated using an XML import file. For information on creating and updating the XML import file, see:
To import an XML import file:

In the Configuration module, select User / Group Import from the Users menu. The User / Group Import dialog box is displayed.

Type the full path to the import file, including file name, in the Import File field, or click Browse to navigate to the file.

Click Analyze. The User / Group Import File Analysis report is displayed.
Review the actions that will be performed when the import occurs and make sure the updates are accurate.
Note:
The XML is analyzed and imported from top to bottom. That means that if updates conflict in the import file (for example, a user is added to a User Group on line 10 and removed from the same User Group on line 50), then the last update encountered is used. In the example given, the user would be removed from the User Group.

Click Cancel if you need to make changes to the XML import file before performing the import, or click Perform Import to update the users and User Groups as configured in the XML import file.
