Configuration rights provide customization on a User Group level for all processing modules within the Configuration module, regardless of whether these modules are licensed in the database and/or registered to the workstation.
- In the Configuration module, select Users | User Groups & Rights.
- Select the User Group that will be assigned Configuration Rights.
-
Click Configuration Rights on the User Groups & Rights dialog box to open the Configuration Rights dialog box.
-
The Configuration Rights dialog box is composed of three tabs:
-
The General Settings tab holds general Client and Configuration module configuration settings.
-
The Users/User Groups tab holds User and User Group configuration settings.
-
The Products tab holds product configuration settings.
-
-
Check the boxes that correspond to the rights that should be enabled for the user group. Click Save to accept all changes and close the dialog box, Clear to deselect all of the check boxes, Reset to return to the last saved configuration or Cancel to return to the last saved configuration and close the dialog box.
Note:
When configuring a new OnBase system, only the MANAGER user can edit Configuration Rights. The Configuration Rights button is disabled for any other user who logs on to the Configuration module. The MANAGER user can grant Configuration Rights to other users.
