To assign a user group to your user, follow these steps:

Select the user name in the User Name list and click User Groups. The Groups for [User Name] window is displayed.
- Select one or more user groups from the Available User Groups list and click Add>>. The selected user groups will be moved to the Selected User Groups list.

Select the Primary user group for license restrictions from the drop-down if you selected more than one user group for a user. This specifies which user group is referenced for license restrictions (i.e., how license availability is allocated among user groups).
Note:
This step is only necessary if you assign licenses to user groups and enter a maximum number of concurrent licenses for that user group. Otherwise, the user will not be restricted to a maximum amount of licenses he or she can use. For more information, see License Settings for User Groups.
- Click Close to save your changes. The selected user name will become a member of all user groups in the Selected User Groups list.
