This functionality is used especially for creating back-ups of existing databases. There are pre-configuration steps that must initially be performed in order to successfully transfer an existing database to the destination database.

You must create a new database to which the existing database will be transferred.

You must run Foundation DBUtils to create all tables and grant rights to all tables for whomever will be transferring the database.

You must create a text file in which information stored in the existing database's tables will be transferred only if you choose to copy the database using a file.
