Issue: When printing from the OnBase Client, documents do not print and no error message is displayed. Additionally, the Print dialog box only displays print queues. Printers installed on the workstation do not display. If there are no print queues configured, the Print dialog box will be blank.

Resolution: The OnBase user must have rights to the Local Printer(Print Queue #1) and the Workstation Printers(Print Queue #2) print queues to be able to print from the OnBase Client. Permissions can be assigned to these queues in the OnBase Configuration module.

  1. Select Printing | Print Queues.
  2. From the Print Queue Configuration dialog box, highlight a Print Queue Name and click the User Group button.
  3. Assign the print queue to the appropriate User Group(s) and close.
