Issue: The OnBase Administrator creates a new User Group, but cannot see the User Group after closing and re-opening the Configuration module. If they attempt to create the User Group again, a message box displays stating that the User Group already exists.

Resolution: If the OnBase Administrator is not configured to be a User Group Administrator, or is not a member of the User Group they created, they will be unable to see any User Groups they create.

The Manager, Administrator, or another user configured with the User Group Administrator right will need to log on to the Configuration module and add the appropriate user accounts to the new group, or make the user a User Group Administrator.

To make a user a User Group Administrator:

  1. Select Users | User Names / Passwords.
  2. Select a User Name.
  3. Click the Settings button.
  4. Select the User Group Administrator check box.
