Sometimes, a Technical Support representative will ask you to produce a verbose file for troubleshooting purposes. In order to do this, you set a verbose switch on the Client and then operate the system doing the task that requires troubleshooting (running a COLD process, for example).

There are a variety of options you can set with the verbose switch to produce additional information. See Command Line Switches for more information.

The verbose.txt file is written to the system TEMP folder. Depending on the configuration of the TMP User environmental variable of your system, your TEMP folder may be in a variety of locations. To open the TEMP folder, open the Run dialog box and type the following command: %tmp%.
