Beginning in OnBase Foundation EP1, support was removed for the Mobile Applications Broker Server, and the Mobile Applications Broker Server was removed from the OnBase product suite. The Mobile Applications Broker Server was reintroduced in the following versions to support existing customers only:

The Mobile Applications Broker Server is not available for new customer installations. If you are using the Mobile Applications Broker Server and upgrading to a version other than OnBase Foundation EP3 Patch 23, Foundation EP5, or Foundation 22.1, you will be required to do one of the following:

Use the OnBase Mobile app introduced in OnBase Foundation EP4 to fulfill your needs.

Perform a parallel upgrade where the Mobile Applications Broker Server and the Application Server it connects to remain on a previous version of OnBase.
If you use a previous version of the Mobile Applications Broker Server in OnBase Foundation 22.1, new features added in OnBase Foundation 22.1 to modules that interact with the server (for example, Unity Forms) might not be supported.
