Unless otherwise noted, the following languages are supported in the OnBase Client, the Web Client, and the Unity Client:

  • Arabic

    For Arabic support, also note the following limitations. For more information on Arabic support considerations, contact your first line of support or your account manager.

    • The Unity Client supports the default formats mandated by your Windows operating system’s regional settings. Customizations to these settings are not supported.

    • Arabic is not supported for WorkView or Reporting Dashboards functionalities within the Unity Client.

    • Arabic is not supported for WorkView or Reporting Dashboards functionalities within the Web Client.

    • Arabic is not supported on mobile devices, including for healthcare products.

  • Basque

  • Bosnian

  • Chinese (simplified)

  • Chinese (traditional)

  • Croatian

  • Czech

  • Danish

  • Dutch

  • Finnish

  • French

  • German

  • Greek

  • Hebrew

    Note:

    Hebrew is not supported in the Web Client. Also, the Hebraic calendar is not supported in any of the clients.

    Note:

    If the Web Client is used in Safari, Serbian is only supported in limited contexts.

When considering supported languages, also note the following limitations:

  • The OnBase Client only supports Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, Serbian, Thai, and Vietnamese for executing processes, such as the Document Import Processor (DIP).

  • Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, and Thai are not supported in WorkView | Case Manager.

  • Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Hong Kong (HKSCS), Japanese, and Korean are supported via the Asian Language OCR license.

    Note: Traditional Chinese language must be selected when using Hong Kong (HKSCS) for OCR format configuration.
  • Chromium-based browsers (Edge and Chrome) and Safari only support the Um Al Qura calendar in Arabic locales.
