Before users can create documents in folios while working in the Unity Briefcase, you must select which Document Types that they can create.
- Log on to the OnBase Unity Client.
- Click the Briefcase tab.
- Click Configuration.
- The Field Application Configuration layout is displayed.
- In the Field Applications pane, select Folios.

Settings
General- Adjust the following general settings for folios:

Name- Type a name for the folio.
Note:This name is limited to 100 characters.
Miscellaneous- Modify these settings to adjust synchronization times. These settings include:

Down-Sync Image Quality- This setting controls the quality of images used when syncing. A value between 1 and 100 is allowed. When set to 1, the lowest image quality (highest compression) will be used. When set to 100, the maximum image quality (lowest compression) will be used.
Note:The Down-Sync Image Quality setting only affects the copy of the image that is stored in the workstation database. It does not affect the copy of the image that is stored in OnBase.

Up-Sync Maximum Recommended Image Size- If an image is greater than this size (in bytes), users will be prompted to resize the image before upload.
Note:Images greater than the Up-Sync Maximum Recommended Image Size size can still be uploaded.
Access Restrictions- Modify these settings to require users to synchronize the folio within a configured number of days. When the configured threshold is met, the folio will be locked until it is synchronized by the user.

Enable Sync Requirement- When this option is enabled, users must synchronize the folio within a certain number of days. Enabling this option will also enable the fields below.

Require Sync Within x Days- Enter the number of days before a user will no longer be able to access the folio offline.

Sync Warning Within x Days- Enter the number of days before a user will be warned that they must synchronize the folio.
Import Settings
Unity Briefcase users will be able to create documents of the Document Types specified on this tab, and upload these documents to OnBase.
To configure a Document Type:

Click Add.

Select a Document Type from the Document Type drop-down list.

Select one of the following types of documents from the Import Type drop-down list:

Other- The document is an OLE document.

E-Forms- The document is an electronic form (E-Form).

Imaging- The document is an image.
-
Forms- The document is a Unity Form. Select a Unity Form from the corresponding drop-down list.
Note:Other types of documents cannot be imported with the Unity Briefcase.

Repeat the above steps until you have configured the import settings for all Unity Briefcase Document Types.
If necessary, click the appropriate Remove button to remove assigned settings.
Keyset Synchronization Settings
This tab allows you to configure how often you want to synchronize any AutoFill Keyword Sets for offline use.
To configure settings:

Click Add.

Select an AutoFill Keyword Set from the Keyset drop-down list.

Specify an update frequency (in days) in the Update Frequency (days) field. A value of 0 means that the AutoFill Keyword Set will be refreshed during every synchronization.

Repeat the above steps until you have configured synchronization settings for all AutoFill Keyword Sets.
If necessary, click the appropriate Remove button to remove assigned settings.
Workflow Queue Folios
Select this tab to configure a Workflow Queue Folio. After a Workflow Queue Folio is created, documents associated with the queue will be available to users with rights to that queue. Standard queues, Load-balanced queues, and queues that respect Security Keywords can be added as Workflow Queue Folios.
Note:Support for Workflow Queue Folios is limited to document-based Workflow Life Cycles and their queues.
Note:WorkView objects can not be added to Workflow Queue Folios.
To configure a Workflow Queue Folio:

Click Add.

Select a Life Cycle from the Life Cycle drop-down list.

Select a Workflow Queue from the Queue drop-down list.
Note:Users cannot perform Workflow Actions on documents in a Workflow Queue Folio.
