When a Note conflict is selected in the Changed Items pane, the Merge Action pane displays the following information:

Description

My Version

Displays the item as it appears in the workstation's database, if applicable.

Merged Version

Displays the item as it will appear in both databases when conflict resolution is complete.

Click Use My Data to use the item as it appears in the workstation's database.

Click Use Server Data to use the item as it appears in the OnBase database.

Note:

The information contained in the Merged Version pane can be edited if necessary. This allows users to combine information from the My Version and Server Version panes.

Server Version

Displays the item as it appears in the OnBase database, if applicable.

To resolve Note conflicts:

  1. Select a conflict from the Changed Items pane. The Merge Action pane displays the conflicting information:
  2. Identify the information that conflicts.

    An example of conflicting information is circled in the screen shot below:

  3. Click Use My Version to use the item displayed in the My Version pane. Click Use Server Version to use the item displayed in the Server Version pane.
  4. The selected item is displayed in the Merged Version pane.
  5. Edit the Note in the Merged Version pane if necessary.
  6. Click Accept Changes.
  7. Repeat steps 1 to 6 until all conflicts have been resolved.
  8. After all conflicts have been resolved, click Accept Changes and Continue Synchronization to continue synchronization.
