Issue

After some time using the Notes Gallery, the Unity Client runs slowly. When checking Event Viewer, the message displayed states "System.OutOfMemoryException".

Resolution

This issue occurs due to data related to the Notes Gallery not being removed from memory. An administrative user can use the Force GC Collect button within the Troubleshooting layout of the Unity Client to clean up the Notes Gallery data.

To clean up Notes Gallery data:

  1. Open the Unity Client.
  2. Log in as an administrator.
  3. Click File.
  4. Click Troubleshooting.
  5. Click Force GC Collect.
  6. Close the Troubleshooting window.
