To delete a staple on an open document:

  1. Right-click on the Staple icon or staple note and select Delete Note. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click Yes. The staple is deleted.
    Note:

    When a staple on a document is deleted, the corresponding staple on the stapled document is not deleted. The corresponding staple on the stapled document must be deleted separately.
