You can delete documents from the Document tab, or by using the right-click option from a Document Search Results list, open image or text document, or folder.

To delete a document from the Document tab:

  1. Ensure that the document is displayed.
  2. Select the Document tab.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

    To delete a document from a Document Search Results list, or to delete an open image or text document:

  5. Select the document(s) you want to delete.
  6. Right-click and select Delete Document.
  7. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

    To delete a document from a folder:

  8. Select the document(s) you want to delete from the Folder Documents pane.
  9. Right-click and select Delete Document.
  10. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
    Note:

    Deleted documents can only be retrieved by using Retrieve by Document Handle or Trash Can. For more information, see Document Retrieval by Document Handle and Document Retrieval by Trash Can.
