In addition to standard redactions, images can also be redacted using a bitmap image (Redaction Bitmap), which is burned permanently into the image document. Redacted images can be used to create tamper-proof markings, such as a signature, or a check mark on a drug test result form.
If the Document Type has been configured for Redaction Bitmaps, you can apply and manage Redaction Bitmaps with the Redaction Bitmaps button in the Modify ribbon menu group.
Note:
Before entering or exiting Redaction Bitmaps mode, you may be prompted to discard unsaved changes to the document.
