Tasks in the Unity Scheduler may encounter an error and appear in the View pane with a status of Error. When this happens, even if the service is running again, the task cannot be executed. In order to run the task again, you need to use Clear Error to clear the task of its Error status and refresh the task list in the View pane.

To clear a task of its Error status in the Unity Management Console:

  1. In the View pane, select a task with the Error status.
  2. Clear the task of its Error status by doing one of the following:
    • In the Action pane, select Clear Error.
    • Right-click the selected task and select Clear Error.
The View pane refreshes automatically, showing the corrected task.

If the task still displays an Error status, you may use the Audit Log to find the error, address the error, and clear the Error status from the task again. For more information on viewing the Audit Log, see Viewing the Audit Log.
