OnBase versions 9.2 and later provide a method of performing a system lockout. Select this option to lock your OnBase system from further logon attempts. Users who are currently logged on are not affected.

  1. Launch the Configuration module. Select Utils | Database Settings and navigate to the Lockout Users tab.
  2. Select Apply System Lockout.
  3. Use the Workstation and User Account drop-down lists to specify the workstation and/or user name that will be able to log on during the system lockout.
  4. You are prompted to confirm that you want to lock the system. Click Yes to continue.

Your OnBase system is locked from further logon attempts. Users that attempt to log on are presented with a dialog box stating that a system lockout is in effect.
