To complete the configuration for the document type, you must associate it with the Hyland Cloud library where the media will be stored.

Note:

The library name is case-sensitive and must match the original library name created in the Hyland Cloud.

To configure a media library:

  1. From the Document Types dialog box, select the document type you created from the Document Type list.
  2. Click the Media Library button. The Media Library Configuration for <Document Type Name> dialog box is displayed.
  3. From the Media Provider drop-down list, select the media provider you created in the Media Provider Configuration section.
  4. From the Media Library drop-down list, select one of the following:
    • Select a <New_Video> media library for document types that correspond to video files.

    • Select a <New_Audio> media library for document types that correspond to audio files.

  5. Click Save.
    Note:

We recommend that you configure your solution so that a specific document type is configured in a way to be optimized for upload into OnBase Video. The recommendation is to limit the file types configured for your Document Type to be the Media Stream file type only. This prevents end users from uploading and importing media files into OnBase that do not have the Media Stream file format assigned to them. See Configuring File Types for the Document Type for more information.
