Ensure users have sufficient OnBase product rights and privileges to use the Virtual Print Driver.

  1. Users of the Virtual Print Driver must have either the Client or Web Client product right, depending on the product that will be used to import documents.

    • The Client product right is required for importing documents through the OnBase Client, Unity Client, and Virtual Print Driver Listener.

    • The Web Client product right is required for importing documents through the OnBase Web Client.

  2. Users must have the Create privilege for the Document Types where they will archive documents.
