The Basic Interface installation mode presents the user with no real installation choices, but does provide a basic interface that displays installation progress indicators and alerts the user of any errors. The interface also gives the user the option of canceling the install prior to completion. When using Basic Interface mode, any parameters that would normally be specified by the user must be specified on the command line.
This example below performs a full installation of the 64-bit Virtual Print Driver using the basic user interface:
