When installation is performed with no user interface, all user interfaces, including the display of error messages, are eliminated. For this reason, it is often preferable to use the basic interface instead, unless all user interaction must be disabled for administrative purposes. Installations using no user interface display only a progress dialog box and critical Windows installer information requests.
This example below performs a full installation of the 64-bit Virtual Print Driver using no user interface:
