Note:

Before printing documents using the Virtual Print Driver, be sure the Virtual Print Driver is only running from one client or listener at a time. Running the Virtual Print Driver from more than one location can cause unexpected results.

  1. Select Print from the third-party application.
  2. Select the Virtual Printer from the Printer drop-down list.
  3. Apply the appropriate print settings. For information about these settings, see the third-party help files.
  4. To select color or black and white mode, click Properties, select the Paper/Quality tab, and select Color or Black & White. This setting is set to Black & White by default.
    Note:

Images are saved as TIFF files, using either LZW or JPEG compression.

    Note:

When print jobs are submitted using a third-party print dialog, the Virtual Print Driver ignores the Number of Copies setting. When print jobs are submitted using the OnBase print dialog, the Virtual Print Driver respects the Number of Copies setting.

  5. Click OK to return to the Print dialog box.
  6. Click OK to print.
