The contexts and control bars that are available in the OnBase Web Client can be modified in the Web Application Management Console 's Navigation Panel dialog box. New contexts and control bars can also be added.

Note:

Before editing contexts and control bars using the Web Application Management Console, ensure you are familiar with the context or control bar's function. For further information on contexts and control bars, see the Web Server documentation. Search the Web Server documentation for the setting contained in the Web Server Web.Config Setting column in the table below.

Tip:

Rest your pointer over a context or control bar's name to display a brief description of it.

To open the Navigation Panel dialog box:

  1. Verify that the Web Application Management Console is displaying the Web Server's configuration settings.
  2. Select Navigation Panel | View Contexts or click the View Contexts toolbar button.
  3. The Navigation Panel dialog box is displayed:

    Similar to the Web Server Web.config settings contained in the Web Application Management Console, settings for contexts and control bars are grouped on tabs in the Web Application Management Console according to functionality. For example, the Collaboration context and corresponding control bars are contained on the Collaboration tab. The contexts and control bar settings in the Web Application Management Console 's Navigation Panel dialog box and the Web Server's corresponding Web.config settings are described in the following sections.
