After selecting a text area in a text document, you can copy it to the Windows clipboard.
To select text, you can use the Text Selection drop-down list from the Web Client Viewer Control toolbar. For more information on using Text Selection, see Selecting Text in Documents.
To copy a selected text to the clipboard:

Right-click the selected text and select Copy to
Clipboard.
The Clipboard Options dialog box is displayed.

Specify the following options:
Option Description Text Range Specifies the range of content to select on a text document. The following options are available:

All: Copies the entire text document.

Selected: Copies the selected text in a text document.
-
Page: Copies all content within a specified page range.
Note: When attempting to copy large text documents and selecting the Selected option under Text Range, the documents may fail to be copied successfully. As a workaround, you can save a text file using the Save Selected As option from the right-click menu.Line Conversion Specifies the formatting of the text selection. The following options are available:

Make text one paragraph: Copies the text selection as one paragraph. Each line of text is separated by extra spaces.
Note: If this option is selected, the text formatting is not preserved.-
Maintain each line as a separate line: Copies the text selection with its current formatting.
Space Conversion Specifies whether the spacing in the selected text should be preserved or converted to a tab.
The following options are available:

No Conversion: Copies the text selection with all spaces preserved.

Convert spaces to a TAB: Converts a specified amount of space characters in a single tab character in the text selection. For example, if you enter 2 in the field next to this option, every 2 spaces in the text selection are converted to a single tab character.
Form Feed Conversion Specifies whether form feed code is preserved or converted to a new line.
The following options are available:

Convert Form Feeds to a new line (CR/LF): Converts form feed code to a line in the selected text when copied.

Preserve Form Feeds: Preserves form feed code in the current form in the selected text.
Remove Lines Specifies whether text from the top or bottom of each page should be removed. The following options are available:

Remove Header Line: Removes text from the top of each page.

Remove Footer Line: Removes text from the bottom of each page.
Note: The number of lines removed from the header and footer are determined by the Report header line and Report footer line values set for the Document Type on the View/Print Options dialog box in the OnBase Configuration module. For more information on these values, see the System Administration documentation.Note: The lines are removed on the basis of the Lines per page value set for the Document Type on the View/Print Options dialog box in the OnBase Configuration module, not on the actual number of text lines. If the Lines per page value exceeds the actual number of text lines, the extra lines are filled with whitespace. -

Click Copy.
The text is copied to your system's clipboard.
