Once you have successfully published a web project to an installer, you can use the generated executable file to automatically install your new web service(s) in IIS. To run the executable file, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the setup.exe file for the web project you want to install. Typically, this file is located in the Hyland\OnBase Studio\WebServicePublishing directory.
  2. Move the file to another location. The web service cannot be installed from the default location.
  3. Double-click the setup.exe file in the new location. The Web Service Publishing CQ Setup dialog box is displayed.
  4. Click Next. The Ready to install dialog box is displayed.
  5. Click Finish. A new application is created in IIS for the published project, which includes all web services for that project.
  6. Verify that the installation was successful. For more information, see Verifying Web Service Installation.
