To configure a constraint:
-
In the Contextual Section Configuration dialog box, click Add next to Constraints. The Constraint Configuration dialog box is displayed.
-
Select the Email Field from the drop-down list that you want to constrain to an attribute.
If you map using From ( SMTP Address ), the attribute value must successfully meet the constraints in relation to the entire e-mail address of the sender of the e-mail.
If you map using From Domain, the attribute value must successfully meet the constraints in relation to the domain name of the sender of the e-mail. For example, if the e-mail address is username@company.com, the value is compared to company.com.
If you map using From Username, the attribute value must successfully meet the constraints in relation to the username of the sender of the e-mail. For example, if the e-mail address is username@company.com, the value is compared to username.
- Select the Operator you want to use to compare the Email Field value to the attribute value of an object.
- You can use the parentheses check boxes to group constraints together for advanced constraint grouping. Also, you can use a Connector(OR/AND) to further define how constraints should be used in conjunction with one another.
-
Select an Attribute to constrain the results to. This is a WorkView attribute.
Note:
Only attributes that are configured on a view that you have rights to are available for selection.
- Click OK.
- Repeat steps 1 to 6 for each constraint you want to add.
- Click Save when done.
