In some cases, you may want to configure a new user-defined filter for a section. To create a filter:

  1. When creating a new section or subsection, click the Create Filter button next to the Filter drop-down.

    The Filter Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  2. Enter a Filter Name for the filter.
  3. Select the Class the filter is associated with from the drop-down list. All classes available are classes belonging to the selected application in the Contextual Pane.
  4. Configure View Attributes, Fixed Constraints, and Sort options as appropriate. See Editing an Existing Filter for a Section for more information about these options.
  5. When finished, click Save.
