If a contact and its object have both been changed, upon syncing, the values that are different must be resolved. If just one has been updated, the latest change will be synced. This means if the contact has been updated last, its data will be synced to the corresponding object and vice versa. To sync a contact that needs values resolved:

  1. Open the contact and click on the application tab with which you want to sync data.
  2. Click Synchronize. The Conflict Resolution dialog box is displayed. Values that are conflicting are highlighted in yellow.
  3. Determine the correct values. The values selected for the Final Value column will sync the contact or the object to the preferred value. Use the -> arrow button to use the My Value value, which is the contact's current value. Use the <- arrow button to use the Their Value value, which is the object's current value.
  4. When the Final Value column contains the correct values for the contact, click OK. A message stating Synchronization complete is displayed.
  5. Click OK.
