You can configure object attributes and Document Type keywords to map directly to values within Outlook e-mail messages. When an e-mail is attached as a document to an object, object fields and keyword values can be automatically mapped when an object is created within the e-mail message. In order for values to be mapped, Document Type Associations must be configured at the class level. First, the Document Type(s) in which documents will be imported must have a Document Type Association configured, mapping e-mail message information to the appropriate Keyword Types that are associated with the Document Type. Secondly, in order to map e-mail message information to object attributes, a Document Type Association must be configured for the WV - Outlook Email Document Type. The WV - Outlook Email Document Type contains Keyword Types that mapped directly to Outlook header data.
The WV - Outlook Email Document Type is only available in OnBase Studio. It is not available for configuration in the OnBase Configuration module because this Document Type is for use with the WorkView Integration for Microsoft Outlook module only.
Value auto-population is only supported for new objects when an e-mail is attached as a document to the object using a Document Type configured with a Document Type Association.
Information on how to configure Document Type Associations and creating Keyword Type Maps in the WorkView | Case Management MRG or OnBase Studio help files.
