If there is no object that matches the e-mail address of a contact, a user will be prompted to create a new WorkView object with data corresponding to the contact. To sync a contact with no matching WorkView object, Complete the following steps to sync a contact with WorkView data for the first time:
- Open the contact and click on the application tab with which you want to sync data.
- Click Synchronize. A message asking Would you like to create a new Object for the current Contact? is displayed. Click Yes to create a new WorkView object. Click No if you do not want to create a WorkView object.
- Upon clicking Yes, a WorkView object is created and a message stating Synchronization complete. is displayed.
- Click OK.
