In order for WorkView applications to display in the Contextual Pane, applications must be registered within Outlook. Only applications for which you have rights are available for registration. Application registration is done on a per user/per workstation basis. This means if a user accessing Outlook and WorkView on different workstations, a user must register the appropriate applications on each workstation he or she uses.

To register applications:

  1. Click the Edit global configuration settings button under the Contextual Pane.

The global configuration dialog box is displayed with the Registered Applications section displayed.

  2. Select the check box next to the application you want to register. You can register multiple applications.
  3. Click OK. You will receive a message telling you to restart Outlook.
  4. Restart Outlook.

You can unregister applications by unchecking the box next to the application. Unregistering an application removes the application from view in the Contextual Pane. When you unregister an application, it does not delete the configured sections and sub sections. If you re-register the application, the sections and sub sections previously configured will be available.
