In order for the WorkView Client to function, you must install the WorkView Client API. To install the WorkView Client API:

  1. Open Windows PowerShell with administrative privileges.
  2. From the directory that contains the installer msi, run .\WorkView.Client.API.msi in Windows PowerShell. The installation wizard is displayed.
  3. Click Next. The IIS Settings screen is displayed:
  4. You can use the default value or you can specify the Web Site within IIS you want to install the WorkView Client API to.
  5. You can use the default value or you can specify the Application Name for the application within the chosen web site you want to install the WorkView Client API to.
  6. You can use the default value or you can specify the Application Pool you want to install the WorkView Client API as.
  7. Click Next.
  8. You can use the default value or you can specify directory you want to install the WorkView Client API to. Click Change to navigate to the desired path, if applicable.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Click Install.
  11. Click Finish.
