OnBase Studio provides the ability to generate an ACE template that can be used to create a custom import file. To generate an ACE template:

In OnBase Studio:

  1. Select the WorkView ribbon.
  2. Within the Maintenance ribbon group, select Application Creation Excelerator | Generate ACE Template. A Save As dialog box is displayed.
  3. Browse to the location in which you want to save the file.
  4. Specify a File name.
  5. Click Save. Upon saving, the file will be generated and open in Microsoft Excel. The file will contain the following tabs: Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, #Notes, and #ExampleClass.
    Note:

    Tabs prefaced with # will not be imported into the system and are used for information purposes only.

The #ExampleClass tab contains a sample application to show how columns are used.
