You can associate an existing form with a class. If you need to associate a new form with a class, you must appropriately configure an E-Form, a Unity Form, or an Image Form outside of the OnBase Studio. To associate a form with a class:

  1. In the Repositories pane, expand the class for which you would like to configure a Document Type Association.
  2. Select the Mappings node.
  3. In the Properties pane, select the Forms tab.
  4. Click Add. The Document Type Association Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  5. Enter a Name for the Document Type Association.
    Note:

The name must unique for the class in which it resides.

  6. Select a Document Type from the drop-down list. This Document Type should be the form's Document Type.
  7. Select a Keyword Type Map from the drop-down list that you want to use to map values from attributes or Keyword Types. You can create a new map or modify the select map from the editing menu to the right of the drop-down. For more information see Creating Keyword Type Maps.
    Note:

A name, Document Type, and keytype map are required to associate a Document Type with a class.

  8. Click OK.
    Note:

You cannot have a form association with the same name or Document Type as another form association within the same class.
