If you want filters to be available from an open document in OnBase client, you must associate filters with the appropriate document type. In addition, Document Type Associations configured for filters are used to configure the WorkView Object Exists rule and the Update WorkView Object and Create WorkView Object From This Document actions in the Workflow module. To associate filters with document types:

  1. In the filter you want to associate with a document type, click the Document Constraints tab.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the Name that you want displayed as the filter in the OnBase Client.
  4. Select the Document Type from the drop-down menu from which you want the filter to be available.
  5. Select the appropriate Keyword Type Map from the drop-down menu. For more information see Creating Keyword Type Maps.
  6. Click OK.
    Note:

You cannot have the same combination of a keytype map and a document type for multiple associations.
