You can configure Basic or Advanced rules. Basic rules allow you to evaluate an attribute to a specific value. Advanced rules allow you to select a filter to determine if the header should be displayed.

To configure a basic rule:

  1. Select Basic.
  2. Click the Attribute ellipsis and select an attribute
    Note:

    Calculated attributes are not available for selection.

  3. Select the appropriate Operator from the drop-down list.
  4. Enter the Value you want to use to compare to the attribute's value.

    To configure an advanced rule:

    Note:

    Before configuring, ensure you have the appropriate filters configured. Filters used for custom headers must have at least one view attribute and use a fixed constraint in order to identify what objects should display custom headers.

  5. Select Advanced.
  6. The select the appropriate Filter from the drop-down list that you want to use evaluate the rule.
    Note:

    When configuring a custom header for an extension class, filters associated with the base class will be available for selection.
