Create a filter for each of the classes involved in the association.
Once the Advanced Association class is configured, you must make a filter for the class used for the Advanced Association. The filter should contain the two relationship attributes that were configured for the class as Display Columns. The filter should only contain the two relationship attributes and have no other constraints configured.
On the Advanced tab of the filter for the class used for the Advanced Association, select the linked class from the Display as class drop-down list. When configuring an association to the same class, that class is the option for the Display as class setting.
