On the view for the source class, add the relationship attributes. Once the relationship attributes are added, embed the filter you created for the Advanced Association class. After inserting the filter, you must configure it. To configure the filter on the view:

With the filter selected, set the Allow Add To List property to True. The Select a filter for <class> dialog box is displayed.
After this is complete, an Add button will be available in the filter within the object, allowing you to add objects to the filter that are associated with the currently displayed object. Once the object is saved, an object is created in the Advanced Association class for the association.
