This option removes the selected base class from the selection list when creating objects from within an embedded filter. Note:
When this option is selected, the Can extend on create is selected and disabled for editing. |

Can extend on create |
Allows the ability for an extension object to be created from within an embedded filter providing a select list of available classes associated with the base class. This setting works in conjunction with the Valid base class extend-on-create choice. Only the base class and linked extension classes with this setting will be available from the select list. |

Auto-Extend External Object on Open |
When an external class has been extended, this option is available for selection. When selected, when an external base class object is opened, an extension object will be created automatically. |
