Extended Class Options - WorkView - Foundation 24.1 - Foundation 24.1 - Ready - OnBase - Premier - external - Premier

This option makes the selected extension class available for selection during object creation from an embedded filter. When the Add button is clicked from an embedded filter within a view, the user will be prompted with a dialog box asking for an extended class selection. The base class and any extended classes with this option set will be available for selection. The class that is selected will be used for object creation.This option works in conjunction with the Can extend on create base class option.

This works in conjunction with the Modify Object Class (Picklist Selection) action type.

When this action type is configured on an extended object and the action is initiated in the client, the user will be prompted with a dialog box asking for an extended class selection. Extended classes (sibling classes) that are extended from the same base class as the current object's class and that have this option set are available for selection. The originally opened object will be transformed to the new extended class that was selected from the list. The object will only be available for retrieval for the newly selected extended class and will no longer be retrieved for the original extended class.

When this action type is configured from a base object and the action is initiated in the client, the user will be prompted with a dialog box asking for an extended class selection. Classes extended from the base class that have this option selected are available for selection. The extended class selected will be created and inherit the values from the base class. The base class will remain available for retrieval and editing. The newly extended object will also be available for retrieval and editing.

When this option is selected, the object is added to Workflow life cycles the class is configured for when extended to this class.

This option allows form associations to be inherited by the extension class from the base class.

This option allows folder associations to be inherited by the extension class from the base class.

This option allows for base class triggers to be inherited by the extension class.
