To delete an application:

  1. In the Repositories pane, right-click on the application you want to delete and select Delete.
  2. If an application is reference by some other item's configuration, the message stating Unable to delete Application The application is referenced by items that must be removed first is displayed. Click Show me where they are to locate the items and delete the reference(s) before attempting to delete the application again. If there are no references to the application, this dialog box is not displayed.
  3. A message stating Deleting this application will delete all configuration items. This operation cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to delete this application?
  4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion. Click No to cancel the deletion.
  5. Upon clicking Yes, a message stating Are you really sure you want to delete this application and all of its configuration items?
  6. Click Yes to confirm the deletion. Click No to cancel the deletion.
  7. Upon clicking Yes, the application will be deleted upon saving the repository. If there are objects in the application, you will get a message stating Cannot delete classes for an application '<Application Name>', because application classes have data associated with them. Please right click on each of the class select 'Delete Class Data' option to delete the data first and then try deleting an application again. See Deleting Data From a Class for more information about deleting class data.
    In addition, if an application is referenced in a Workflow life cycle or another application depends upon it, it cannot be deleted until the reference is removed.
