Data sets that are already configured are available for selection in the Data Set drop-down list on the attribute screen. You can create data sets that are available for attributes. To create a data set:

  1. In the WorkView ribbon, in the General ribbon group, click Data Sets. The Data Sets dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click Add and select Data Set. The Data Set Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  3. Enter the Name of the data set.
  4. Enter the data set's values. You can enter the values manually or you can import them from a text file. See Entering Values for Data Sets for more information.
    Note:

    If the - character is entered as a value, it will be displayed as a space.

  5. Click OK.

You can modify a data set by selecting it and clicking Modify.

You can delete a data set by selecting it and clicking Delete. A message stating Are you sure you want to delete this Data Set? is displayed. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Note:

You cannot delete a data set if the data set is referenced within a WorkView configuration. References must be removed before the data set can be deleted.
