Module associations allow you to associated configured filters with a specific module to add functionality to that selected module. Granting rights to a module association will give users rights to access attribute values that are included in the module association's filter.

You can use module associations to grant OnBase service accounts permissions to filters and attributes within them. When utilizing scheduled processes that require these permissions, the service accounts are granted permission to any attribute in an existing module association. In this case, you do not need to assign any User Groups, as the service accounts are not assigned to the User Groups.
