Sequences can be created to produce an incremental default value for attributes. To create a sequence:

  1. In the WorkView ribbon, in the General ribbon group, click Sequences. The Sequences dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the Name of the sequence.
  4. Enter the number you want the sequence number to start on in the Key Value field.
  5. Click OK. A Sequence ID will automatically be assigned.
  6. Click Close.

You can modify a sequence by selecting it and clicking Modify.

You can delete a sequence by selecting it and clicking Delete. A message stating Are you sure you want to delete the sequence? is displayed. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Note:

You cannot delete a sequence if the sequence is referenced within a WorkView configuration. References must be removed before the sequence can be deleted.
